Welcome
Principal's Message
Dear Blue Jay Families, As we approach the upcoming Fall season, I would like to take a moment to share some important information regarding school safety, attendance, tutorials, and student assessments. School Safety During the Holidays The safety of our students is always our top priority. With the holidays coming up, please remind your children about the importance of staying safe both inside and outside of school. We will be taking extra precautions to ensure that the school environment remains secure and that all students follow safety protocols. We kindly ask for your continued support in reinforcing these practices at home. The Importance of Attendance Regular school attendance is crucial for your child’s success. Every day missed is a missed opportunity for learning, and it can be difficult for students to catch up. Every day counts, and consistent attendance ensures your child doesn’t fall behind in their studies. Start of Tutorials We are pleased to announce that after-school tutorials have already begun taking place. These sessions are designed to provide extra support for students who may need assistance in specific subjects. If your child has been selected, we highly encourage their participation. Please look for more information from your child’s teacher regarding schedules and content. Weekly Tests and Student Progress Weekly assessments are an important part of our approach to monitoring student progress. These tests allow us to gauge your child’s understanding of the material and identify areas where they may need extra help. Your support in preparing your child for these tests and ensuring they are well-rested and ready is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to these matters and for your ongoing partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can ensure that every student has the tools and support they need to succeed. Warm regards, Mr. Jose R. Perez Principal, Santa Maria Elementary School
